So much to show you, such little means

Yes we haven't seen much of me lately. That's because I broke my camera back in September when I photographed the collegiate ensemble I showed you last time. The tripod broke it actually, and the blasted British wind. Hence no outfit posts for me, and sadly silence, in the absence of the energy for anything else. I am not sure how much longer this camera embargo will last, at the moment I don't quite have the splash power necessary in order to end it.

What is certain is that I am not coping very well with the said situation, especially as I have so much to show you! Mostly more knits, a fresh batch in, lovingly made by mother, that arrived at my doorstep last week and deserve admiring from every possible angle :)

Until such adoring act shall be possible consolation is to be found in browsing my latest shop additions. I've kept very busy and have some true gems in there right now. Here's a selection which, thanks to my phone, you can just about see.

Drool worthy shoes

A great bag selection

Even a flapper's cap!

May you enjoy your visit ...and I hope you'll see me soon too :)

Spot the resemblance?- a vintage cherry knit dress and leopard print accessories

Remember this dress? Well, I've always wanted to show you a better view of it, but this wasn't my lucky day of camera cooperation.  Anyway, you get to see a different outfit using the same base piece, in a  40's inspired approach.

Now I'm no feline, and don't normally do leopard print. An accent is all I manage. But my sweet shoes were so lonely that in the end I gave in. and decided to get the vintage fur collar (died rabbit) pictured above to match the leopard print on these wedges. It has seen better days, but haven't we all?!...

For a spot of authenticity I added this 40's copper brooch. Isn't she a beauty? Believe or not, I have come across 2, one which which is up for grabs in my etsy store!

My precious - the brooch collection

Rather than show you my usual and forever growing wish list I decided it's time to share some of the little treasures I enjoy in reality. Like any old fashioned being, I do have a thing for brooches.

Brooches for some reason are a either loved or hated, like marmite.
My best friend for example wrinkles her nose when it comes to them. Really?!...She also has a very strong hat aversion.
I find that absolutely scandalous :) But then again there's a lot in this life beyond my comprehension. These cuties, luckily, aren't.
