Not my usual era of inspiration, but who can resist these positively juicy wonders? I love berries in all their shapes and forms, and these gorgeous 50's molded glass Austrian brooches are no exception. Even when they feature cherries, pears or apples :)

Oh my mom was so happy when she e-mailed me. (She's fairytalesbyjulie) You really made her day. Thanks for featuring her XOXO
ReplyDeleteP.S. I love your vintage outfits.
Oooh, these are so lovely! I don't know a lot about vintage jewelry - and had never run across an Austrian fruit brooch before. Now that I know they're out there, I'll have to keep my eyes open!
ReplyDeleteThey are darling little things, aren't they? Mine already sold, and I have to tell you, it's hard to let go. Hope I come across more, and get to keep one for me :)
ReplyDeleteInteresting post! I have been collecting these little Austrian Fruit pins buying them from the USA for some years now. Would love to know more about them ! My red and clear strawberries remain a favourite-although I love the black setting too!
