My first blog award!

Big thank you to Brooksie from The world according to art deco girl blog for awarding me my first blog award! I humbly accept it and will pass it on to other wonderful bloggers that I discover along the way - but you'll have to bear with me as this is not a thing to do in haste (especially as of late I tend to fall out rather than in love with some blogs). Mini holiday pics from out short stay at Bournemouth showing my humble 30s attempt with mostly modern gear, except for the ...buckle :) and the hat (apparently known as a semi-calado - see the fretwork weave for ventilation purposes) , which are indeed vintage.
Ah, the frustrating art of improvising! Wish the day when I sported original resort wear would come sooner! A taste of Riviera lifestyle wouldn't hurt either :).

Green envy

This is yet another older mood board. In spite of the mismatched eras, I am still enjoying this one (and growing obsessed with that doggy tray), perhaps because of the green and yellow/gold combo, there's such a playful energy about it.
